1. About Us & Acceptance of Terms

MedicToUK Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales. We provide specialized post-graduate medical education, clinical mock examination circuits, curriculum revision materials, and career guidance for medical doctors preparing for UK Royal College examinations (including MRCPCH Clinical) and NHS practice.

By visiting medictouk.com, creating an account, registering for any course, streaming on-demand video content, or utilizing our interactive clinical timers, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our incorporated Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If you do not agree to all terms set forth herein, you must immediately discontinue use of this website and refrain from purchasing or accessing our educational services.

2. Eligibility & Professional Representation

Our educational services and mock clinical examinations are designed specifically for qualified medical doctors, international medical graduates (IMGs), medical trainees, and allied health professionals.

• You must be at least 18 years of age and possess full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under English law.
• You represent and warrant that all professional qualifications, medical council registration details (e.g. GMC number), current grade, and contact details provided during registration are true, accurate, and up-to-date.

3. Single-User License & Account Security

When you purchase an on-demand video package, digital case set, or course registration, MedicToUK Ltd grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable single-user license to access the purchased educational materials for the designated access period (typically 3 months from the date of purchase, unless specified otherwise).

4. Intellectual Property Rights & Prohibited Conduct

All intellectual property rights in and to the website, educational course materials, clinical mock scenarios, actor scripts, examiner scoring rubrics, video recordings, presentations, clinical algorithms, digital timers, branding, and graphics belong exclusively to MedicToUK Ltd or its licensors.

You expressly agree that you will not, under any circumstances:

• Record or Capture: Record, screenshot, capture audio or video of, transcribe, or rip any portion of live Zoom webinars, Day 2 hospital circuits, on-demand video masterclasses, or private 1-to-1 advisory sessions.
• Distribute or Publish: Publish, transmit, post, sell, or disseminate any MedicToUK clinical cases, examiner marksheets, or mock scenarios on social media platforms, Telegram channels, WhatsApp groups, shared Google Drives, or public forums.
• Reverse Engineer or Scrape: Decompile, reverse engineer, extract code from, or run automated scraping bots against our website, clinical timers, or digital infrastructure.
• Commercial Exploitation: Use any MedicToUK content to establish, contribute to, or train competing medical examination preparatory courses or artificial intelligence models.

Any unauthorized reproduction or commercial exploitation of MedicToUK Ltd proprietary materials constitutes copyright infringement and will be vigorously pursued under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and relevant civil injunction procedures.

5. Course Bookings, Fees & Payments

• Payment Processing: All course fees and subscription charges are payable in British Pounds Sterling (GBP £) through our secure payment partner, Stripe Inc. Card details are handled under strict PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
• Booking Confirmation: Registration for any live course or digital product is only finalized once full payment has been confirmed. You will receive an automated booking receipt and confirmation email.
• Deanery & Trust Sponsorship: If your registration fee is being reimbursed or funded directly by an NHS Trust or Deanery study budget, please notify our team at info@medictouk.com to arrange formal VAT invoicing. Place reservations are subject to receipt of formal purchase order or payment.

6. Candidate Professional Standards & Exam Regulations

As a medical training provider led by NHS consultants, MedicToUK Ltd maintains uncompromised clinical, ethical, and behavioral standards aligned with the General Medical Council's (GMC) Good Medical Practice.

Zero Tolerance for Harassment & Misconduct

Candidates must treat all fellow candidates, consultant examiners, administrative staff, professional actor role-players, child patients, and their families with courtesy, dignity, and absolute respect. Any form of discriminatory, abusive, threatening, or sexually inappropriate behavior will result in immediate expulsion from the course without refund and will be referred to relevant regulatory authorities if warranted.

Live Online Sessions (Day 1 Zoom Mock)

• Candidates must join with video cameras turned on and display their registered full legal name throughout the session.
• Candidates must ensure a quiet, private environment free of background noise or unauthorized observers.
• Recording (audio, visual, or screen capture) is strictly prohibited.

In-Person Hospital Clinical Circuit (Day 2)

• Infection Control: Candidates must strictly comply with hospital trust infection prevention policies ("bare below the elbows", short sleeves, no wristwatches or jewelry other than a plain wedding band, hair tied back, hand decontamination between stations).
• Dress Code: Smart professional clinical attire or clean scrubs with appropriate closed-toe footwear.
• Patient Confidentiality & Safeguarding: Information regarding patient volunteers or clinical cases is strictly confidential under Caldicott principles. No photography or clinical recordings are permitted in hospital clinical areas.

7. Educational Disclaimers & Independent Nature

No Guarantee of Examination Pass or GMC Registration: While our courses and resources are authored and delivered by experienced NHS consultants, attendance or completion does not guarantee that a candidate will pass any official examination, attain GMC registration, or secure an NHS training post.

Not Formal Medical Advice: All materials, sample scenarios, answers, and clinical discussions are intended solely as revision guidelines. They do not constitute formal clinical guidelines, medical advice, or therapeutic recommendations for individual real-world patients. Candidates must exercise independent clinical discretion and adhere to approved NHS Trust protocols in clinical practice.

8. Cancellations, Deferrals & Refunds

All cancellations, deferrals, cooling-off rights, and refund requests are governed strictly by our formal Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

In summary: immediate digital access waives the statutory 14-day cooling-off period under Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; live course cancellations are subject to standard tiered administrative fees based on notice periods (>28 days, 14–28 days, <14 days).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable English law:

• Total Liability Cap: The total aggregate liability of MedicToUK Ltd (including our directors, employees, consultants, and agents) arising out of or related to these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be strictly limited to the total fees actually paid by the candidate for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
• Exclusion of Consequential Losses: MedicToUK Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, nor for any loss of profits, loss of income, loss of study leave, loss of anticipated career progression, or non-refundable travel, hotel, and accommodation expenses incurred by candidates.
• Non-Excludable Statutory Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully limited under English consumer law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MedicToUK Ltd, its directors, NHS consultant examiners, contractors, and affiliates from and against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms, including intellectual property infringement or unauthorized account sharing;
• Any unlawful, negligent, or inappropriate conduct committed during live hospital or online sessions; or
• Your violation of any applicable laws, GMC professional standards, or patient privacy rights.

11. Third-Party Links & Platforms

Our platform may incorporate links or integrations to external third-party services (such as Stripe for payments, Zoom for video seminars, or external clinical guidelines). MedicToUK Ltd has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the availability, content, privacy practices, or security of any third-party websites or services.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms, their subject matter, and their formation (including any non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
